Welcome to Hastings Nordic

Nordic skiing is a fantastic winter sport open to students in grades 7-12. We welcome Hastings students who want to challenge themselves, be part of a great team community, and of course have fun!

Practice for Nordic Skiing begins November 10th, 2025. Until we get snow, we will meet at the high school at 3pm, and practice will run from 3-5pm. 

Once we have snow, practice will often be at Cottage Grove Ravine Park, but we may also practice other places. Look for communications ahead of time. 

We will have a meeting for all students interested in Nordic Skiing on Thursday 11/6 at 2:45-3:30 in the lecture hall at the high school. If you are interested in learning more about the sport, stop by!!

There will be a parent meeting on November 18th at 6:30pm in the lecture hall. 

The school provides equipment for all first year skiers (skis and poles). Skiers will still most likely have to purchase boots.
